Louis the Child & Bea Miller Collaborate For The Mesmerising ‘hate u cuz i don’t’

The electronic duo of Louis the Child recently teamed up with singer-songwriter Bea Miller in their newest single ‘hate u cuz i dont’ . The track dropped along with a music video in which Miller uses her mesmerizing vocals and eclectic style to paint the picture of the passion and resentment she has for falling for someone that doesn’t quite reciprocate her feelings.

Even though the pain she experiences is significant, she candidly expresses her inability to walk away from the situation. Her down to earth lyrics throughout the first and second verses highlight the familiar heartache many can relate to when one half of the pair wants something more than a friendship: “No it’s not my fault/ That you made me fall / Said all the right things, can’t help but like it / And you sayin’ we’re friends, said I understand / Baby, I wont lie / Truth is I know I want you so close.”

Behind the lyrics is an addicting, upbeat tempo created by no other than Louis the Child. The Chicago natives never ceases to disappoint while relinquishing their electronic magic to the world.

They shared on Instagram their excitement towards working with Miller and releasing their collaboration, “We wrote this one with Bea over a year ago and it was really easy to create. Bea writes about things going on in her life and came in that day telling us about a situation with a boy so we just channeled that all into the lyrics. The production and songwriting didn’t match with the music we were putting out at the time, but it felt perfect for the Euphoria EP. Sometimes you’re creating music for projects you haven’t even thought of yet.”

This single will be featured on Louis the Child’s upcoming album ‘Euphoria Project’ and can currently be streamed on all music platforms.
